Foundation Match For New & Increased Pledges

It's always a good idea to support services in the community, but this year thanks to challenge grants from the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and the Valley Community Foundation, all new donations and increased giving from last year will be matched on a 1 to 2 basis up to $40,000. As an example, if you are donating $100 for the first time, United Way will get an additional $50 from the Foundations. In effect, your gift is now valued at $150!

Valley United Way supports health & human service programming throughout our All America award-winning community by raising funds in the community. Every donation is important in improving the quality of life in the Valley, but Valley United Way recognizes that some individuals in the community have the desire and ability to lead the rest of the community through giving at significantly higher levels. Valley United way recognizes those individuals special efforts through membership in the Commodore Hull Society and the Alexis de Tocqueville Society. Please check the appropriate level below if your donation qualifies you for this special recognition.
