Spectrum Plastics has ended Rubber Supplies domination of the Horseshoes event by sweeping the top two spots in this year's tournament. Rubber Supplies had won the last four open tournaments, and had also won previously when the event had large and small divisions. Mike Foy, James Csizmar and alternate Teddy Orazietti (Splecturm #2) emerged victorious in the twenty-six team field, but only after beating fellow Spectrum employees Mike Koszlowski, Lamont Riley and Kris Balliargeon in the finals. Last year, Rubber Supplies had finished 1-2 in the standings. United Illuminating and Balloons by Design rounded out the "final four". Tele-Media Cable kept control of the overall standings by placing two teams i (#1 & #2) in the quarter finals along with Gordon Rubber #1 and Plastic Molding Technology #3. The Standings:
