Format (Subject to change based upon the number of registrations):
-- Randomly break teams into three (3) pools.
-- Corporations entering more than one team will be placed in separate
pools if possible.
-- Each team plays every team in their pool once; game to 11; alternating
courts
-- Upon completion, all teams will be seeded for play down bracket
-- Seedings are based on record first with points scored" the tie breaker.
Positions will be determined after the three pools have been completed.
Playdown Bracket
1. Single elimination bracket
For example, if there are a total of 12 teams, the following will apply:
-- First round losers are grouped together to determine seeds 9 - 12
-- Second round losers are grouped together to determine seeds 5 - 8
-- Semi-final winners play each other to determine seeds 3 - 4
-- Finalists play "Best of Three" games to 15.
-- Semi-final winners play each other to determine seeds 3 - 4
All matches conducted simultaneously for expedience and camaraderie.
2. A maximum of four members and a minimum of two members of the same sex
may be on the court at any time; six (6) players on court, ten (10)
maximum on rosters.
3. Final rosters changes must be made no later than 30 minutes before the
start of the first match for that division.
4. One time-out per team will be allowed per game which cannot be carried
over to the next match. Time-outs will only be called with a dead ball.
Time-outs will be limited to 30 seconds. Injuries will be designated by
referee as officials' time-out. Play does not stop or start until the
referee blows the whistle.
