Rubber Supplies regained the title in the Corporate Cup Horseshoes tournament after a two year absence as brother Jed and Bill Manning toppled the husband and wife team of Jeff and Sue Westine from TEAM, Inc. in two straight games in the championship round of the tournament. The Mannings swept through five rounds of competition in defeating TEAM, Inc. #2, Rifkin Travel, Tele-Media # 2 and Birmingham Group Health Services # 2 before their title win over TEAM, Inc. #1. The victory re-establishes the Rubber Supplies Horseshoes dynasty as they had previously won four straight titles from 1997 to 2000.

The Westines were aptly named as TEAM, Inc.'s #1 team as they defeated Griffin Hospital # 1, Tele-Media #1 and Rubber Supplies #2 before running into a buzz saw in the form of Rubber Supplies #1.

Rubber Supplies #2 and Birmingham Groups Health Services #2 finished tied for third in the final standings.
