Spectrum Plastics showed that last year's win in the Corporate Cup Horseshoes tournament was no fluke as they topped a field of 30 teams including five time former champions Rubber Supplies to win the title for the second straight year. Mike Kozlowski and Ted Orazietti were the winning team members and Orazietti was also a member of last years winning team. They toppled the Rubber Supplies Ringers in the title game. Jed and Bill Manion had defeated Birmingham #4, Tele-Media #1, Tele-Media #2 and the Spectrum Plastic Molders before meeting their match in the title match. For Jed Manion, it marked the end to a personal winning season as he had paced teams that won every title from 1997-2000.

Spectrum Plastic also tied for the third spot as Keith Ogle and Mike Fox finished tied with Rubber Supply's other team - the ZZ Top's composed of Neil O'Marra and Gbreg Phipps.
